seeing God in the lived life

I have class every Tuesday night so will not be able to attend discussion group this fall, but I wanted to comment on Pastor Chad's example of seeing the divine in a sunset. I believe that, in our human-ness, we will miss the presence of God entirely if we assume that He only reveals himself to us in formal and paternalistic splendor. Not to get graphic here, but every time I teach my students about the structure and function of the placenta, I am full of excitement and awe about creation.... fetal development is SO not an accident!
