Ungrace, or Disgrace
The picketing of the funeral service was not just ungrace - it was disgrace. I cannot fathom how selfish people have to be to destroy people's moments of deepest grief, to push their own agenda of hate and intolerance. I hope this verdict sinks this "church" completely and deters others from thinking to do the same.

Delving into Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westboro_Baptist_Church, you will find that his following is a "church" in the same sense that The Manson Family or Jim Jones of Jonestown fame are chruches. Instead they weem to be professional rabble rousers who make their living by picketing and demonstrations, and from lawyers fees they earn "defending their constituional rights." They have also picketed the 2006 Sago Mine Disaster,as well as some of Billy Graham's revivals.
The real victims are not the people they have targeted, but us. When secular America sees a 30 second "sound bite" of these self proclaimed "evangelical fundamentalist Christians" , they may get the impression thatthese nut cases are as representative of all Christians as Osama Ben lauden is of all Muslims.
